Julie Agu (graduate student, Aix-Marseille) holds a joint BA in Anthropology and English Studies and two Masters’ degrees in European studies and Cultural Studies from Aix-Marseille University. Her research interests include gender & sexuality theories, queer and trans feminist studies, fiction and life writing in American and British contemporary literature, canon formation, subjectivities and identities in the 20th and the 21st century. Her current work explores queer and lesbian life writing, with a focus on Dorothy Allison and Jeanette Winterson.

Clémence Laburthe-Toira (PhD candidate, UPV Montpellier) is PhD candidate in English at the University of Paul Valéry Montpellier III. Her research investigates the extent to which the writings of the Bloomsbury Group were shaped by contemporary reflections on botany and landscape. Her interests include modernist literature, landscape poetics and garden history.
